Friday, April 19, 3 to 9 p.m.
Richmond Promise will team up with East Brother Beer Company to take part in the Richmond-based brewery’s Pride + Purpose Day series celebrating the Richmond community. As part of the collaboration, 10 percent of all proceeds from the taproom and online sales will be donated directly to Richmond Promise. The taproom will be open from 3 to 9 p.m., and RP staff will be on hand from 5 to 7 p.m. to share information about the work the organization is doing on behalf of Richmond Promise Scholars. Also, that day, East Brother will showcase Richmond Promise-related content on its digital channels as another way to highlight the work RP is doing. Started by East Brother as a way to celebrate the Richmond community, Pride + Purpose Day is described by the brewery as a “special event dedicated to supporting local causes that make a significant impact in our community.” Richmond Promise hosted its “Cheers to the Promise” event at East Brother in 2023 and is excited to partner with the brewery once again.
