Oans, zwoa, drei, gsuffa! We were STOKED to be doubling up on our Oktoberfest party! We’re hosting TWO Afterfests (one at each taproom) complete with brass, lager, and very silly hats and shorts. Unlike Munich, the sun shines on Napa and the Rich City well into the fall, so why not have our parties a little later than everyone else? The afterparty is the main event anyways, so join us after Oktoberfest for “The Afterfest” on Saturday, September 28 in Richmond and Saturday, October 5 in Napa. Our respective food vendors (@general.li88 & @buttersburgersnapa) will be slinging some delicious German-inspired food, and Brewers’ Brass will be serving up some Bavarian-adjacent jams to accompany your lager of choice. As always, we’ll have Rich City Pils and The Afterfest (the eponymous festbier!) which you can get in our gorgeous, limited edition tankards. Lederhosen, dirndls, and cleavage are not required. You do you, boo. Anything goes at The Afterfest.

Bird Walk @ Booker T. Anderson Park

Come birdwatch with Golden Gate Bird Alliance at Booker T. Anderson Park on September 28 at 9 a.m. Everyone is welcome, especially new birders!  We will take a short walk around the park to look at resident and migratory birds, and we will have binoculars to borrow.  We will walk for about 2 hours, depending on bird activity. During Fall migration this park has had lots of activity with the return of winter residents and migratory birds passing through include Western Tanager and Yellow Warbler. We will bird the areas along Baxter Creek, the lawn and perimeter of the newly renovated community center, around the tennis/pickleball courts, and perhaps even the parking lot which in the past attracted a good number of birds feeding in a Chinese Pistache tree."
